    You have six directions, all reasonable, and no way to choose.

    There's a new AI tool every week, and everyone you ask has a different opinion. Most people who call me could figure out how to build their app on their own eventually. What they don't know is which direction is worth the next six months of their life. I've made the wrong call myself before. Those mistakes taught me what to look for, so I can help you pick the right direction sooner.

    The first callStep 2 of 5

    We talk for 45 minutes, and I tell you honestly what your idea needs.

    You'll get my honest opinion, even when it isn't what you expected to hear. Sometimes the right first step is smaller than you planned, or a tool that already exists covers part of it. Either way, you leave the call with a clear plan, and if you want, we start building it together.

    Building itStep 3 of 5

    I build all of it, from the screens to the servers.

    That means the design, the app, the database, putting it online, and getting it approved in the App Store and Google Play. I take extra care with the parts people never see: logins, payments, and keeping your customers' personal information safe. They don't show up in a demo, but if they break, people stop trusting your product. We agree on milestones before we start, and you only pay for one at a time.

    Launch, and afterStep 4 of 5

    After launch, I stay with you while real people start using it.

    Once real people use your app, they'll do things nobody predicted, and something will break in a way no test caught. That's normal. I watch it closely in the weeks after launch, fix what comes up quickly, and keep improving it based on how people actually use it. You won't be left on your own the week it goes live.

    When it's yoursStep 5 of 5

    Everything is in your name, so a handoff is easy whenever you're ready.

    Every account, domain and code repository is in your name from the first week, paid with your own card. I write documentation as I go, so another developer could pick it up in an afternoon. If you ever want to move it to an in-house team or someone else, the transition is simple.

Home health platform

I replaced $55,000+ a year in software with one system I built for her.

She was paying for six separate platforms to run her home care agency, and none of them covered everything she needed. I replaced all of them with one system I built from the ground up: scheduling, visit verification, billing, payroll, texting and staff training, plus phone apps and AI tools she never had before. I designed it so the only real cost left is the HIPAA-grade hosting her patient data requires, which runs under $12,000 a year. Without patient data, a system like this runs for less than $500 a year. Her office runs it on the web, and her caregivers use the phone app in clients' homes. Everything lives in one place now, so nobody copies data from one system to another.

What it does

  • Set up for HIPAA throughout, with signed business associate agreements.
  • Each agency's data is kept separate, with an audit trail.
  • Insurance claims are filed electronically.
  • Automated voice calls and text messages.
  • Existing client records moved over from the old system.

Training app

Everything he needed built, I built.

He came to me with a training app and big plans for it. I took on all of it and built everything that makes it grow: the Android launch, subscriptions and free trials, one-tap sign-in, and the ad tech that brings in more paying customers. It's live on both stores with paying subscribers, and I'm still building it with him.

What it does

  • Subscriptions and free trials, including the paywall and stopping people from abusing the free trial.
  • Sign in with Apple and Google.
  • Ad tracking across two networks, tied to real purchases so he can see what each ad earns.

My own app

Parenting app

I built Ankur for parents like me, and I run it myself.

Ankur helps parents through the hard moments, like a meltdown at the park, with advice that cites where it comes from. It also gives kids short, calm stories, some with American Sign Language, with no ads and a timer the parent sets. I designed it, built it and paid for it myself. It's live on the App Store and Google Play with paid subscriptions, and I ship every update.

Why hire you when I could just use AI myself?
That's a great place to start, and you might get further than you expect. Nobody hires a laundry service because they can't work a washing machine. They hire one because their time is worth more somewhere else. And if you get stuck, or you're not sure which way to go next, that's a good time to call me.
What happens to my product if you disappear?
You own everything from the first day, and I set it up that way on purpose. It's documented and tested, so any good developer could pick it up and keep going.
How fast is it, and what does it cost?
Faster and cheaper than an agency, because there's nobody between you and the person writing the code. I can't give you a real price before we talk, because I don't know yet what you need. After the call, I'll send you a quote.
